Family and corporate governance

Intergenerational wealth transfer

Collaboration with other professionals

Services

We offer investment services to family offices which involve the holistic assessment, custom tailoring and management of discretionary investment portfolios. A dedicated Investment Counsellor works with your family office staff, trustees, and other professional advisors while taking into account tax specifics, asset location, cash flow needs, financial planning strategies and other requirements as necessary when constructing your investment portfolio.

Investment Policy Statement Development

After a detailed discovery process, your Investment Counsellor will incorporate your investment objectives and risk tolerance parameters into an Investment Policy Statement (IPS). The IPS becomes the framework for all future investment decisions.

Discretionary Investment Management

Once your investment policy and asset mix have been established, your Investment Counsellor manages your portfolio on your behalf. This provides peace of mind for our family offices, by freeing them from making day-to-day investment decisions.

Communication

Great communication is one of the keys to having a successful client experience. Your Investment Counsellor will communicate regularly with you to review your investment strategy and ensure it remains suitable as your circumstances change.

Education

We believe strongly in education. Our experienced Investment Counsellors can provide educational support to family offices on a variety of investment management topics.

Reporting

You will receive reporting that is specific to the needs and requirements of family offices. Our comprehensive web-based reporting includes performance, compliance, trading activity, tax, and asset mix summaries.
