Jean-Philippe (JP) Giguère is an institutional portfolio manager at Mawer Investment Management Ltd., which he joined in 2013. Based in Toronto, Mr. Giguère is responsible for the management of institutional client investment portfolios.

Prior to joining Mawer, Mr. Giguère was a director of relationship management at MFS McLean Budden Ltd. Previously, he was employed for nine years as an investment consultant at Watson Wyatt (now Willis Towers Watson), where his work included risk budgeting and asset liability modeling as well as manager research. He also worked as an equity research associate at National Bank Financial.

Mr. Giguère has pension and investment experience since 1999 and is a CFA charterholder and Fellow of both the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries. He received a Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science from Laval University. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Toronto.
