Kent Kaufield is Chief Financial Officer at Mawer Investment Management Ltd., which he joined in 2024. He brings over 35 years of industry experience to the role, which is responsible for the development and execution of the firm's finance strategy. Mr. Kaufield is also a member of Mawer's Executive Team, which drives the development and execution of the firm’s strategic plans.

Most recently, Mr. Kaufield served as EY Canada's Chief Sustainability Officer, where he was responsible for leading sustainability strategy and reporting and driving market growth. He was a member of both the EY Canada Leadership Team and the EY Americas Sustainability Leadership Team. Other roles with EY included being a member of EY Canada’s Executive Committee, leading the Global Oil and Gas Sector Team, the Office Managing Partner for Edmonton and Calgary, and Technology Risk Leader, where he established the first formal Technology Risk practice in Western Canada. He was also Chief Financial Officer and VP of Finance and Administration at Inmedia Presentations.

Mr. Kaufield is an active member of the community and has sat on the board for a number of organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, STARS Air Ambulance, and West Island College. In 2022, Kent was awarded the Fellow of Charted Professional Accountants for his commitment to building sustainability awareness to the accounting profession and making outstanding volunteer contributions to the community.
