Oliver Terhechte is an Equity Analyst at Mawer Investment Management Ltd., which he joined in 2025.

Previously, he was a Portfolio Manager at Union Investment Institutional in Frankfurt, Germany where he managed thematic and fundamental equity long/short strategies. In this role he held the responsibilities of a generalist portfolio manager while his fundamental research coverage was mostly focused on European consumer companies. Prior to that he completed internships in private equity at Franz Haniel & Cie and asset allocation at the RAG Foundation.

Mr. Terhechte earned his MSc in Management with a focus on Corporate Finance and Investments as well as his BSc in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim. He also completed exchange semesters in the MBA Program at Schulich School of Business in Toronto and in the International Business Program at the University of Exeter, UK. Mr. Terhechte is a CFA charterholder with investment experience since 2021.
