Paul Moroz is Chief Investment Officer at Mawer Investment Management Ltd., which he joined in 2004. As Chief Investment Officer, he has broad responsibility for the research and analysis of global equities and fixed income securities. Mr. Moroz is also co-manager of the Mawer Global Equity Strategy. 

Mr. Moroz was a joint recipient of Investment Executive’s 2019 Fund Manager of the Year award, and in 2013, won the prestigious Morningstar Foreign Equity Fund Manager of the Year award at the 19th annual Morningstar Awards. He was co-manager of the Mawer Global Small Cap Fund from 2007 to 2020. Mr. Moroz also served on the Board of Directors from 2007 to September of 2022.

From 2016 to 2017, Mr. Moroz relocated to Singapore and served as CEO and Director of Mawer Investment Management Singapore Pte. Ltd. Prior to joining Mawer, Mr. Moroz was employed by Alberta Investment Management and Merrill Lynch Canada Inc.

Mr. Moroz has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder and member of the CFA Institute and the Calgary CFA Society.
