Sara Poldaas is Director of Portfolio Services and a director at Mawer Investment Management Ltd, which she joined in 2010. She is also a member of the firm's Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Mawer, she was Manager of Prime Brokerage Client Operations as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in London, England. Previous to that role, she serviced Goldman Sach’s European institutional clients as part of the Equity Operations team. Before working in the investment industry, she worked as a member of the editorial production teams at Associated New Media, Confetti, and Amazon.co.uk.

Ms. Poldaas earned her MFA from the Alberta University of the Arts. She holds the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment IAQ designation and the CFA Claritas Investment Certificate. Sara is a member of the Portfolio Management Association of Canada and Institute of Corporate Directors.

She is an active volunteer in her community, serving as Vice President of the Wildlands Development Society, past President of the Inglewood Community Association, and served on the National Music Centre Out Loud Gala Committee.
