Bruce Geddes, CFA

Bruce Geddes is Chief Executive Officer at Mawer Investment Management Ltd., which he joined in 2025. As CEO, Mr. Geddes is also a member of the Executive Team and oversees the development and execution of the firm’s strategic plans.
 
Mr. Geddes has over 30 years of progressive leadership in capital markets and investment management. Prior to joining Mawer, he was with RBC Global Asset Management as President, PH&N Canadian Institutional. Known for his client-centric approach, talent management, and disciplined execution, Mr. Geddes has led high-performing teams, consistently achieving top industry recognition across the Canadian and North American markets.

Prior to RBC, Mr. Geddes held senior roles at TD Asset Management, where he was a key contributor to the growth of the Canadian Institutional Fixed Income franchise, and at RBC Capital Markets as a derivatives trader.

Mr. Geddes holds a CFA designation and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Carleton University. He is also recognized for his community leadership, notably as part of a top fundraising team for cancer research and other charitable initiatives.
