Alex Romaines, CFA, MSc

Alex Romaines is an equity analyst at Mawer Investment Management Ltd., which he joined in 2019. Previously, he was an investment analyst at a local family office where he performed fundamental research on global companies across a variety of industries. Prior to that, Mr. Romaines was a senior accountant at BDO in Calgary, having initially trained at a mid-sized accounting firm in London, U.K.

Mr. Romaines holds an MSc in Professional Accountancy from the University of London. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder with investment experience since 2016.
